A letter
If you have walked this far, we have almost met.
Everything you have moved through is how I see: slowly, and on purpose. I have spent a long time learning that the distance between work people scroll past and work people keep is rarely the budget, or the technology. It is attention: the willingness to look at something longer than anyone else is prepared to.
Cult Edit Studio began with a simple belief: there has never been more content in the world, and very little of it is remembered. The gap between what gets made and what stays with people is where I work.
I came to creative direction by doing the work end to end: building ventures of my own, and working alongside founders to shape brands, products and campaigns from first concept to launch. Building for yourself teaches you what decisions cost, and how much of a brand’s character lives in details nobody mentions.
Over time I noticed that the brands people remember are rarely the ones with the most content. They’re the ones that feel complete, where the product, the imagery, the typography and the pacing all come from the same place. People don’t fall in love with products; they fall in love with worlds. Building them properly is the point of this studio.
As for tools, I use whatever the work asks for: photography, film, type, code, and newer instruments as they prove themselves.
What I value hasn’t changed much: restraint over excess, materials that improve with time, typography that knows when to stay quiet, curiosity over trends. And patience with the final few percent, which is usually what makes something exceptional.
I keep the studio small and take on a few projects at a time, because the work is only worth doing when it can be done properly. If you’re building something premium and care about how it enters the world, write to me. I read everything myself.
